What's the difference? Part 1: Natural Ingredients vs. All Natural
If you are new to natural beauty and skin care products KEEP READING.👍 If you are a long time fan of all things natural, read this too and share with your newbie pals!
What is the heck is the difference between all natural and natural ingredient based products??
For starters, any time you are deciding to use a product with nautral ingredients over one with all artificial ingredients you are making a wise decision. 😄 Good job for at least being interested!!
Irie Body™ considers an all natural product as one that is made of 100% natural ingredients. Not one ingredient is artificial. Every ingredient would be derived from Mother Earth such as plant based ingredients (like coconut oil, essential oils, herbs, etc.) or mineral based ingredients (like charcoal or clay).
Now, even though a product is not 100% all natural does not make it a bad product. Products with natural ingredients are a-okay too! They can range from having only one natural ingredient to having 99% natural ingredients.
Sometimes it is hard to keep a product 100% all natural due to the necessity to preserve the product from mold and yeasts. Just like food, natural products eventually will age over time. In order to prevent this from happening, tiny amounts of preservatives are often used. And there are some preservatives that are better to use than others, but that is for another post.
Keep in mind that even if you cannot pronounce an ingredient or it is unfamiliar, it does not necessarily mean that the ingredient is not natural.👌
So, my friends, knowledge is power! Do your own research about ingredients that are new to you and remember to choose natural!
P.S. Irie Body™ makes all natural products as well as some that are 99% natural. Check out our list of ingredients in each product and let us know if you have any questions!
